Details

Here is a prime example of a 1959 Gibson ES-355TD with gold hardware and PAF humbucking pickups. Appealing to the modern player, this guitar features a factory mono output, making it more similar to a ES-335 because of the lack of the Gibson Variatone stereo output. Mother of pearl block inlays adorn the ebony neck, as does the diamond inlay on the headstock. This guitar has had one pickup rewound, as well as a headstock repair, and the binding nibs were removed during a refret. Otherwise, everything is original. 1958 and 1959 were some of the best years for Gibson, and this vintage ES-355 is in great condition for its age, and captures the classic sound of the semi-hollow icons of the past.
