Details
Sitting down to play this 1932 Gibson L-00, you'll quickly see why it's been considered an "industry standard" for so long. The flattop L Series guitars were first made in 1926, starting with the smaller L-0s and L-1s, before Gibson increased the lower bout width to 14-3/4" on these L-00s. Eventually the L-00s would be 14-fret instruments, but this one still sports the 12-fret design of the early '30s. This L-00 is in excellent condition for its age - very clean, and set up with great action. To our knowledge, the only non-original part is the rosewood bridge and bridgeplate retainer (placed over the original bridgeplate). It comes with a newer hardshell case.
