"Arguably the most balanced guitar available from Goodall Guitars", James Goodall considers the dreadnought-sized Standard to be his crowning achievement as a luthier. With a powerful, driving bass, articulate midrange, and shimmering trebles, this is a big-voiced guitar that is perfect for strumming and taking solos, but with enough sensitivity to tackle fingerstyle, too. Amazon rosewood shares a lot of tonal characteristics with Brazilian, and on a guitar this size, that voice is maximized beautifully. Finished off with maple binding, an abalone rosette, and a matte finished mahogany neck, this is yet another exemplary guitar from the father-son team.
