John Heindel builds handcrafted guitars in Akron, Ohio, combining vintage sensibilities with modern technology. This unique little 12-fret parlor guitar has a beautifully intimate tone, that ranges from soft and delicate, to rich and sonorous. It sports a 45-style inlay in the ebony fingerboard, and a stunning pearl inlay on the slotted headstock. The styling is understated and timeless, with rope purfling on the body and a herringbone rosette.
This guitar is built with a gorgeous set of Indian Rosewood, and a sitka spruce top with beautiful bearclaw figuring and silking throughout. The body of the guitar is finished in Heindel’s signature French polish, allowing the instrument to breathe and age, while containing no harmful chemicals. It features a 2-piece maple neck reinforced with a carbon-fiber dual-action truss rod. This instrument is in excellent used condition and comes with a hardshell case.
