Friends Jeff Huss and Mark Dalton have been building guitars together in the Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia since 1995. Brought together by their love of traditional American music, both men worked for Stelling Banjo Works before striking out on their own, with the aim of building instruments that "paid homage to tradition and also incorporated improvements to the structure and cosmetics of the distinctly American steel string guitar." No surprise, then, that their pre-war inspired dreadnought, the TD-R, serves up a powerful sound that can rival any 1930s dread, especially when crafted of Adirondack spruce and Brazilian rosewood like this one. It has that rich, pianistic voice with distinctive registers that make it the perfect glue for holding together a bluegrass ensemble.

This pre-owned model is in excellent condition, with no cosmetic issues or fret wear to note.
