JC Baxendale crafts some of our favorite guitars in the traditional, Martin-inspired style from his Colorado workshop. Players looking for the powerful, slightly drier tone of an Indian rosewood dreadnought should look no further than this pre-owned Baxendale D. An Adirondack spruce top with an amber-toned finish is paired with beautifully straight-grained rosewood, and accented with ivoroid binding, herringbone purfling, and a tasteful abalone rosette. Additional touches like the diamond and snowflake fret markers, peghead flourish, and an ivoroid-bound ebony bridge add a subtle touch of extra flair. The full-bodied tone provides all the right bass response and power for strumming, and while balanced and warm mids and trebles sing out lead lines.
