Details
We are extremely proud to present this truly sensational L-00 from one of the world's most revered luthiers, Kim Walker, whose build list for new instruments is now closed! This is a very rare opportunity to snag one of the most collectable instruments on the planet.
Inspired by the 'golden-era' guitars made pre World War II, the Walker L-00 takes this iconic foundation and refines the instrument with exacting and meticulous detail and attention as one would expect from a luthier with such a remarkable reputation.
As Kim puts it, the guitar is more of a 'variation on a theme' than a direct replication of its ancestor, and so features exceptional contemporary techniques alongside pre-war styling to achieve a sound that feels notably vintage whilst embodying a power and presence seldom heard elsewhere.
In Mahogany and Adirondack Spruce, the guitar has a punchy, clear tone that suits a huge range of playing and musical stylings; with divine articulation and complexity played finger style and plenty of headroom and a lively, inspiring voice when played with a flatpick, one can only feel moved when playing or hearing this beautiful L-00.
The guitar is in excellent condition and includes a fitted hard case.
