Designed as a “single unified aesthetic entity”, Kraut prides his builds on their dynamics and optimal responsiveness, creating a tone and feeling that provides a player with an instinctual and expressive playing experience. The Swiss moon spruce top is paired with tightly figured fiddleback mahogany, which you might be forgiven for mistaking for koa at first. But pick it up, and it's everything you'd expect from a lightly built mahogany guitar. It's articulate, immediately responsive, and has that midrange clarity that is so perfect for folk arrangements and vocal accompaniment. The visuals are at once appropriately subtle, but also unmistakably Kraut.
