Lowden F-38c Acoustic Guitar, Brazilian Rosewood & Dark Cedar #18244 - Pre-Owned
This absolutely outstanding Lowden F-38c in Brazilian Rosewood and Dark Cedar is a real eye catcher, with beautiful rosewood and abalone purfling and Abalone 'leaf' inlays this instrument really is a cut above the norm in the aesthetic department for Lowden.
The 38 Model is becoming increasingly difficult to get hold of, mostly down to the scarcity of high quality Brazilian Rosewood, and in lieu of this the woods selected for this particular example are nothing short of exquisite.
The 'F' body size is Lowden's most popular shape, and brings with it a tremendous amount of depth and character, and when coupled with the fantastic tone woods that make up this instrument, the result is a crisp and clear tone backed up by a warm and powerful low end.
This particular example of Lowden's F-38 features and lovely soft Venetian cutaway, giving you fantastic access to the guitars upper register and an extra special touch to this already staggering instrument.
The guitar plays wonderfully for fingerstyle, with the signature GL Standard neck profile providing a slightly wider and more spacious platform for intricate chord voicings. That being said, the guitar also takes a flatpack incredibly well and really opens up when you dig in.
The guitar comes in a fitted Lowden branded Hardcase, and is in incredible Museum-like condition with full CITES paperwork present.
