Lowden's F model guitar was designed with flatpickers and strummers in mind, with a deeper 4-5/8" body that's just under 16" wide in the lower bout. But its curvier shape and comfortable set-up appeal to many fingerstylists as well, who can benefit from its powerful, dynamic voice. The combination of a 12-fret and full scale length configuration gives this guitar a serious gutsy edge compared to 14-fret Lowdens, with a lot of mid-range pop and focus. It's a perfect balance for the lushness of Madagascar rosewood, while the Alpine spruce top further ensures clear articulation. The 35 series guitars have a restrained visual appeal, with the only accent—aside from Lowden's wood grain-enhancing satin finish—being a delicate abalone rosette, lined purfling and mahogany binding. This guitar is in excellent condition.
