We're so pleased to have received our first two instruments from Lowry Guitars, based in the North of France. The first of these is this stunning Lowry Braid Model featuring a stunning set of Koa for the back and sides, paired with a Swiss Moon Spruce top.

The Braid is the smallest model offered by Lowry, thought to be the most similar to a 00 model. It is a small-bodied, well-balanced and comfortable guitar. It has a short scale length of 629mm, and 13 frets to the body. The 13th fret join further eases the playing position and also shifts the bridge to a more central location in the lower bout, opening up the bass response. Featuring the combination of Koa and Swiss Moon Spruce, tonally this guitar is clear, punchy and articulate across the fretboard.
