Details
Randy Lucas spent years studying the greatest pre-war offerings from Martin and Gibson, and now crafts beautiful instruments inspired by those guitars. This excellent pre-owned example features an Adirondack spruce top with herringbone purfling, stunning dark Brazilian rosewood back and sides, and an ebony fingerboard. This guitar is a bluegrasser's dream, with a wonderfully responsive top suited perfectly to lightning-fast flat picking. It has gorgeous overtones, and the huge tone one would expect from a Brazilian dreadnought. This LD-28 is as close as it gets to a pre-war Martin, and comes with a Calton case.
