This stunning Private Stock S-Classic from Macmull Custom out in Jerusalem, Israel is a painstakingly accurate and inspiring rendition of the very earliest iteration of what has since become the most recognisable electric guitar in the history of popular music.
What makes Macmull's take on this icon so distinctive however, is the depths to which the team go to capture the feel and sound of their vintage counterparts, with Bodies matched to Necks based on their resonance and pickups voiced individually for each and every instrument.
This particular guitar takes form in a lightweight, Ash body coupled with a one-piece Hard Maple neck, and in lieu of subtle ageing to the nitro finish, feels like an old friend under the fretting hand from the moment you start to play.
The proprietary RVT pickups in this fine instrument capture the vintage S-type voice in a particularly inspiring manner, with the resonance of the entire instrument working beautifully with the tailored response these pickups deliver, with no lack in sparkle or punch.
This guitar comes with a custom G&G hardcase and Macmull branded leather strap.
