Details

For the Special Build version of their Traditional Series OM, Maestro have outfitted this classic design with a striking set of cocobolo, once again bringing a boutique tonewood to their affordable guitars. Similar in some ways to rosewood, the Central American wood often brings added overtones and lush, ringing sustain.

The Adirondack spruce top on this particular model is torrefied, or aged, to get more of that played-in tone straight out of the case (it's worth noting that with many other builders, torrefication comes with a significant upcharge). With delightful appointments like a slotted headstock and beautiful abalone purfling and rosette, this Special Build Traditional Series OM is a tonal and visual jewel in the Maestro catalog. Custom Maestro hard case included.
