When one comes across a pre-war guitar that looks as good as this one—well played-in and aged, to be sure, but not exactly covered in battle scars—you might wonder if it's too good to be true. But give it a play, and you'll hear the magic. A full-bodied, authoritative attack and a surprisingly complex decay rightfully declare that this is the tone that tone is based on. While a great "Old Bone" may be thought of as the final stop for many guitarists with acquisition syndrome, this D-18 will remind you that mahogany should never be underestimated.

Maintenance includes a replaced bridge and plate, and two repaired top cracks. The finish on the front, sides and neck is original, but the back is refinished. Please reach out for a more detailed in-hand description!
