Details

This D-18 from 1938 has been played hard but still delivers the classic prewar Martin tone! Still a strong-sounding instrument, this Martin has an extensive history of repairs and body work. Regarding body work, it had multiple headstock breaks, which consequently required a partial veneer replacement, a neck break, multiple cleated back cracks, stabilized fingerboard cracks, patch-reinforced back "crunch," and one 10" treble side crack. The bridge and bridge plate have both been replaced, and there are two plugged holes in the body from the previous bridge being bolted down. This guitar has almost entirely been oversprayed, with the exception of the back of the headstock. This guitar comes with its original hard case.
