Details
Who better to recapture the essence and magic of pre-war Martins than Martin themselves? With their limited run of Golden Era instruments, crafted in the early 2000s, they revisited the build techniques, tone and look of the guitars that put them on the map in the early 20th century. Old-growth Brazilian rosewood is paired with Adirondack spruce, and combined with pre-war specs like scalloped forward-shifted X-bracing. The huge, powerful bass, crackling trebles, and full tone are pure pre-war inspired, but married with all the benefits of a modern-made guitar.
This one is number 376 of 600, finished in 2002. It has just been professionally set-up, buffed, and cleaned up, making it fresh and ready for its next home!
