This stunning all Koa Parlour was built by C.F. Martin in 1924, and is thoroughly steeped in history and music with a deeply inspiring charm that beckons you to pick up and play.
The all Koa construction in the single O body size imbues the guitar with a powerful yet sweet midrange character, supported by a surprisingly well rounded low end and crisp, clear trebles to match. The patina of the instrument sits beautifully in line with it's open and lively tone, with only a light French polish touch-up from Gruhns to keep it ticking over.
The neck has a classic 20s 'V' profile, slim and comfortable through to the upper registers and a lovely feel to the well maintained, original bar frets. It's a true joy to play and the resulting sound is very much indicative of why pre-war Martin guitars are held in such high regard.
The guitar comes in a non-original, fitted Hardcase.
