"Perfect for flatpicking and strumming, and in my opinion, there is no better guitar for Irish Trad accompaniment than a traditional dreadnought." - Ciaran McNally

This McNally take on the American powerhouse is the perfect representation of everything we love about Ciaran's guitars. Combining small-shop creativity and attention to detail with an approach that incorporates machine-precision and efficiency learned from his time with Atkin Guitars, Ciaran's boutique guitars are performance and jam workhorses. This Dreadnought Custom features upgraded tonewoods, pairing Adirondack spruce with Madagascar rosewood to give it a bit more nuance and complexity than you might expect from a standard dread. Though it'll certainly sound at home in a bluegrass jam, it has the versatility to tackle fingerstyle and Celtic accompaniment as well. Minimal appointments like maple binding and a wood rosette keep the look elegant and clean, putting all the focus on this guitar's stellar playability and tone.
