Details

Our notes on this guitar before it arrived were "blingy and exotic", and that was no understatement! Northern Irish luthier Ciaran McNally's versatile, slightly larger OM design is kicked up a notch (or three) with a set of green ebony and sinker redwood, sure to make any fingerstylist swoon. The high density of ebony provides a resonant body that offers up clear, sweet sustain, while the redwood top ensures a complexity of tone akin to that of cedar, but with additional clarity in the upper ranges. Ciaran has employed a bevelled armrest as well as the Manzer wedge, which gives the player added comfort with no sacrifice in sound. An absolutely top notch satin finish brings out the wood grain beautifully, and finishing touches like a rosette of figured walnut and abalone, abalone top purfling, and pinstripe bound headstock and fretboard add the bling.
