Michaud Made OM-R, Indian Rosewood & European Spruce - Pre-Owned

Every Michaud Made guitar has a look and tone that's both timeless and modern. Joel Michaud starts with familiar shapes and designs like the OM and thoughtfully updates them from the inside out. His OM-R is "built as a tonally complex instrument with full bass and focused trebles", suitable for many styles of playing. This 2014/5 model is crafted of Indian rosewood and European spruce, for voice that has plenty of nuance, complexity, and character. A 25" scale and oval neck profile make for excellent playability. Joel uses an unusual bridge design inspired by Ervin Somogyi, that combines low weight and high strength in the wings to become "a very efficient driver of tone". He also double laminates his guitars' sides for stability and a stronger neck to body structure, ensuring the longevity of his instruments.

The overall condition of this OM-R is excellent, with only one finish dent that has been filled in and leveled out, and some light wear on the first few frets under the treble strings. It comes outfitted with the K&K Trinity solo system, and ships out in an Ameritage hard case.
