Based out of Rossville, GA, Isaac Stroupe worked and apprenticed at Atlanta Violins for eight years before starting Minerva Guitars. With his inspiration rooted in the great American guitar makers of the 1920s and 1930s, Isaac puts a particular focus on the more obscure models from those eras. His 12-fret L-00 is a stand-out, instant classic, and a prime example of what one can expect when purchasing a Minerva guitar. Mahogany, Adirondack spruce, 00, and a tuxedo finish? Yes, please! The home-brewed, hand rubbed spirit varnish allows the guitar to breathe, making it extremely dynamic and responsive, ideal for both picking or fingerstyle playing. This Minerva L-00 is perfect for those looking for a high quality, hand-built, feather-light guitar that feels and sounds as if it was 85+ years old.
