Muiderman Chapdelaine Model, Black Walnut & Sinker Redwood
North Dakota luthier Kevin Muiderman crafted this model, as the name would suggest, for virtuoso guitarist Michael Chapdelaine. But the LO-16 style guitar is perfect for any players who want a small instrument with a big sound. (Leo Kottke is also a fan!) With an ultra lightweight sinker redwood top, curly black walnut back and sides, and composite bracing, this guitar has major punch and projection, even with a light touch. There's an intimacy and immediacy to its voice, and the shorter note decay ensures that fast moving arrangements won't get muddy, staying articulate and clean. Playability couldn't be better, with a short scale length making left hand execution a little easier, and a low rounded, slight D neck profile adding comfort. This guitar comes with a fitted red Crossrock hardshell case.
