Details

This hand-carved Nik Huber Custom Orca in all Korina is a finely crafted, no frills electric guitar. The use of Korina (White Limba) in electric guitars was popularized in the late 50’s by Gibson with their progressive Flying V and Explorer models.  The illustrious tone wood has been sought after ever since by luthiers around the world. Due to its limited supply, and the skill that it takes to work with this delicate wood, full Korina guitars are scarcely seen in today’s guitar market. With a straightforward pair of Haussel Classic H Humbuckers, and a single volume knob, this Nik Huber Custom Korina Orca lets the wood do the talking.
