This pre-owned Artist Series NFA-5V2E mandolin from Northfield is the perfect instrument for the picker who's looking for a played-in instrument that they won't feel too precious about taking out to jams and festivals. We think the little bit of cosmetic wear just gives this mando more character! Northfield's Artist Series mandolins are crafted of the best materials available, and were designed with input from the legendary Mike Marshall. This one utilizes a 2-bar bracing system, which offers more a little more projection and brightness than the 5-bar system, making it a great choice for bluegrass players. A one-piece birdseye maple back is matched with a spruce top, for a well-rounded, classic tone. Finished with a beautiful sunburst and a carefully applied spirit varnish finish.
