This Jumbo Series Sitka spruce and koa guitar from Massachusetts-based luthier John Osthoff is a striking guitar, in both feel and tone. John says of his JS: "While this guitar is most impressive when played in hard and aggressive style it still delivers throughout the whole dynamic range." With beautiful koa, the tone is bright and focused, with a powerful upper mid-range. Without a doubt, this is a bold strummer, ready to fill out the rhythm section of any band. Differing slightly from John's standard JS model, this one features a Manzer wedge, with its notably wider lower bout clocking in at 16-7/8", and its slim upper body measuring 3-13/16" at the deepest point. This combination gives it comfort and approachability suitable for smaller players who might otherwise eschew jumbos altogether.

The condition of this 2007 guitar is remarkably clean, with no cosmetic damage to note, and no fret wear. It comes with an Ameritage hard case with humidity control.
