Steve Fischer's work can be seen not just on guitars bearing his own name. The trusted luthier previously worked with McPherson, and around 2010, he was also tapped to help Paul Reed Smith launch a line of high-end acoustic guitars. This Steve Fischer Angelus model sports a set of beautifully figured mahogany for the back and sides. Matched with a spruce top (likely Adirondack), you get all that warm, mid-range focused tone you'd expect. But given the Angelus' size, sitting somewhere between an OM and a dreadnought with a 15-1/2" lower bout and 4-1/2" depth, this model has plenty of power and bass response, as well. Outfitted with an L.R. Baggs pickup and an Ameritage hard case, this versatile guitar is stage ready.

Condition on this pre-owned 2010 model is overall very good. Some cosmetic wear is noticeable up close, such as some light finish scratches and a little buckle rash on the back. But there's no fret wear, and playability is excellent.
