The Rick Turner Renaissance RS-6 is a six-string electro-acoustic guitar, hand-made in Santa Cruz, California.
This wonderful RS-6 from Rick Turner Guitars is perfect for both recording and performances due to its shallow body design and D-TAR Eclipse blending preamp with Timberline pickup element.
The guitar's thin-line body is built like an acoustic guitar, but the presence of a Mahogany center block helps to cut feedback, and the added customized Seymour Duncan StagMag humbucker offers electric guitar tones too, making this a true acoustic/electric hybrid. The RS-6 can be seen being played by Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac below:
- Back and sides: Mahogany
- Top: Western Red Cedar
- Neck: Mahogany
- Fingerboard: Ipe
- Headstock: Black Veneer
- Tuners: Gotoh 510 Delta Series
- Electronics: D-TAR Timberline with co-axial piezo polymer pickup element and a customized Seymour Duncan StagMag humbucker
- Controls: Volume, Tone, Blend
- Includes padded gig bag
