Details
Typically when you think of a "crossover" instrument, you think of nylon-string guitars that are geared towards steel-string playability. But if ever there were a steel-string crossover for classical players, this Running Dog 000 12-Fret would be it. With a wide 1-7/8" neck and a 12-fret neck join, it has both a similar feel and dark, lyrical tone to a rosewood nylon-string. It's a perfect guitar for adapting classical arrangements to steel strings, and with a standard 25.4" scale length, it maintains excellent clarity and body in drop tunings. Though nearly 20 years old, this guitar is in excellent condition, both cosmetically and in terms of playability.
