Details

Award-winning guitarist Eric Skye sat down with luthier Richard Hoover to create the “Ferrari of fingerstyle guitars in classic pre-war package”. In the 00 Skye Model, they definitely succeeded. This fabulous guitar features an Adirondack spruce top and vibrant cocobolo back and sides, put together with Adirondack braces and a hot hide glue construction. This 00 12-fret guitar has a slightly deeper body, creating a lush, deep tone not usually found in small-body guitars. With a gutsy, fat bass, loads of sustain, and a sweet bloom of overtones, it's quite the fingerstyle guitar, but with a flatpick, you can draw out some nice crackly treble, as well.

This pre-owned model is overall very good condition, with an excellent set-up. There are a number of very light stray marks in the finish and on the pickguard, plus a little buckle rash on the back, but no dings or structural damage.
