Details

Designed specifically with fingerstyle players in mind, the Santa Cruz FS was made to accommodate open tunings and complex fingerstyle arrangements. The master luthiers at Santa Cruz put a special focus on the reduced tension of open tunings and the minimized energy imparted from a player’s fingertips to create a sophisticated instrument that responds with volume and immediacy. This FS features a Moon Spruce top, and a Mahogany neck, back, and sides, as well as a Rosewood body and fretboard binding, and backstrip. The specially engineered design of the FS, matched with it’s unique combination of woods, rewards a player with a full and balanced articulate sound, brilliant yet warm overtones, rich sustain, and an ease of playing that compliments the dynamics and touch of fingerstyle guitar.
