Santa Cruz was one of the first builders to bring back the OM style, which was sold by Martin for a very brief period in the 1930’s before being replaced by the 000. This example features Indian Rosewood back and sides, with an Adirondack top. It also sports Adirondack braces built with hot hide glue.
This custom iteration has a short scale, lending a warm tone to this guitar, as well as effortless playability. This OM has a slight compression in the midrange, with a still-present bass response, giving the guitar a dynamic and round tone, making it perfect for fingerstyle. When flatpicked, the guitar prefers a subtle attack, and responds instantly with bell-like highs and resonant lows.
