Santa Cruz RS, Mahogany & Sitka Spruce - Pre-Owned
"The RS is designed for a commanding presence. SCGC’s specially tapered bracing and body depth give the instrument considerable headroom to be driven hard and still maintain tonal integrity."
Though originally modeled after the vintage guitars played by Hawaiian slack key players in the 1930s, this retro-inspired RS from Santa Cruz Guitar Company provides a unique set of specs that modern players will appreciate, too. A wider 1-13/16" nut width and 2-5/16" string spacing offers plenty of room for comfortable fretting and right hand picking, and the 12-fret, short scale configuration will please fingepickers in search of a large-bodied guitar. The tone is rich and fat in the mids, with a more restrained bass and softer trebles. The condition is excellent, and it comes with a pre-installed K&K pickup with volume control.
