This brand new model is inspired by the Silvertone/Danelectro guitars of the 60's with a formica top over a chambered body. Whereas the original design featured slightly weak "lipstick"pickups, Scott has designed a new pickup that is perfect for the articulate, full electric slide tones that this guitar produces.
The Solace features a handful of unique points and details. Its a guitar that plays itself , and although simple in features is a tone machine. This is a culmination of 14 full time years of guitar building, engineering and design. Woods, metals, pickup and electronics, finishes and construction details have all been meticulously thought through ,tested and revised and packed into one amazing instrument. Built for the road and the studio.
