If ever there was a luthier to convince you of the merits of choosing an individually crafted, handmade guitar, we think it might be Bruce Sexauer. This particular guitar was made for the 2011 Healdsburg Guitar Festival. His FT-15 design is essentially an OM in shape and dimensions, while the JB indicates a multi-scale set-up, But as it's JB/2, it's subtle, with only 1/4" difference between the high and low Es. This gives the player the optimal tone of a longer bass and shorter treble, with no struggle to adapt.

The tonewoods on this FT-15 are something to behold, The Italian spruce top is straight-grained with a hint of holographic shine, and the Brazilian rosewood? The wildly marbled and weaving figuring may be such eye candy you momentarily forget to actually play the guitar! All the more impressive is its weight. It's not uncommon for rosewood guitars to be on the heavier side, but this one is featherlight at only 3lbs-14oz. Singing trebles, a dark bass, and resonant sustain combine for an endlessly inviting tone. Pernambuco binding, maple and ebony purfling, a Brazilian rosewood bridge, flying bird MOP fret markers, and an unusual pickguard add subtly beautiful touches. Like all his guitars, Bruce completed this one with a varnish finish to maximize its tonal potential.

This guitar is in excellent condition, though the delicate finish does sport a few very light, minor dings and scratches that you can spot in the right light. Feel free to reach out for further in-hand description.
