Details

Michael Spalt crafts his unique, visually arresting instruments out of Vienna, Austria. This single-cut 624 HB Custom features a mahogany body and deep-set neck, and is decorated with a top of Zebrano, or zebrawood, and a hand-machined aluminium scratchplate. The wenge fingerboard feels similar to ebony, but provides some additional brightness to the sound. In the electronics department, the Spalt 624 is equipped with a Lollar Mini humbucker at the neck and a Lollar Imperial humbucker at the bridge. To switch between tonal options, there is a three-way selector switch and push-pull circuitry, allowing the player to switch between Strat and Tele-style tones.

Check out the video below to hear former TNAG staff member Michael Watts run through the wide variety of tonal options this beautiful guitar has to offer! We sold this guitar new from our UK showroom, but it has returned to us and we now are selling it pre-owned from Nashville.
