The Spalt Instruments G 1807 ‘Metamorphosis’ is an electric guitar from master builder Michael Spalt in Vienna, Austria.
We are big fans of Michael Spalt and this guitar encapsulates everything that sets Michael apart from the pack; gorgeous tonewoods, unique artwork and exceptional playability.
This model features an Alder body with a resin top, which allows Michael to use the Guitar’s top as a canvas to decorate with various items and themes. The resin top then behaves tonally like a maple cap.
The guitar features a set of Lindy Fralin’s Pure PAF pickups, controlled by Volume and Tone controls and a three-way selector switch. This guitar comes with a hard shell case and a certificate of authenticity.
