This striking instrument is Michael Spalt's G1810, dubbed '9-Eye'.
Made up out of Mahogany for the body and neck with an Ebony fretboard, this versatile guitar blends signature Spalt aesthetic choices and construction methods with rustic charm.
Sonically the guitar has a huge range available, with two BoneTop P-90 style pickups providing everything from chimey cleans through to roaring, thick lead tones at a twist of the volume knob. This guitar also has a push-pull switch on the tone control which allows you to use both pickups in series, stacking their outputs for a passive level boost.
The guitar plays beautifully, and with the deep cutaway you have unparalleled access to the upper region of the fretboard for those wild and magical guitar-centric moments.
A word from the maker on this gorgeous piece;
"‘9Eye’ is one of the premium style Totems, high grade woods and appointments. This one is like a well-worn saddle - the weathered wood texture and color combine with a few small colourful accents - sort of a Western-style aesthetic."
