This gorgeous instrument from Michael Spalt is number #41 of the 50 guitars that will be built using the characterful Pine sourced from the original Gate of the Vienna workshop.
With it's beautiful weathered, textured patina and resonant qualities, it makes for a wonderful building wood in an electric guitar and makes for an entire line of inspired and distinctive instruments that sound as magnificent as they look.
The stunning flame maple neck feels comfortable and lively in the fretting hand with fantastic playability all the way through the registers of the guitar, with singing sustain and body to each note even up at the 'dusty end'.
The set of hand wound P-90 pickups provide a range of punchy, articulate tones and work wonders with a clean amp as well as pushing a driven amp into seriously excitable territory.
