Thomas Fredholm Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, Mahogany & German Spruce - Pre-Owned

Why not spread the cost?

Inspired by the early work of C.F. Martin, Thomas Fredholm has been handcrafting high quality guitars since the ‘80s. Fredholm builds his steel strings in using the “traditional classical” method, upside down with the traditional Spanish peones (glue blocks) inside. Instead of having kerfing in the top, Fredholm utilizes these triangular blocks to connect the top to the sides of the guitar. He believes that this gives the guitar a better tonality due to the accuracy of the glue joints. This construction, paired with its lightweight, tap-tuned, German Spruce top, the clarity and warmth of its Mahogany back and sides, and hand finished French Polish, creates an instrument that truly embodies the spirit and tone of the beloved pre-war dreadnoughts.
