Swedish luthier Thomas Fredholm has been crafting everything from dulcimers to steel-string guitars for over 25 years, and this Thomas Fredholm OM is a perfect example of what one can expect from one of his masterfully built guitars. Its old-growth European Spruce top, as well as its old-growth Indian Rosewood back and sides, conjoined by hide glue throughout, creates an instrument with all of the tonal characteristics one desires in an OM-style guitar. The lows are defined, while the mid-range and highs beautifully complement one another, rewarding a player with a playing experience that is dynamic, responsive, and tonally balanced. It's no surprise that musicians such as Dan Tyminski, Bryan Sutton, Andy Summers, Zac Brown, and countless others have gravitated to Fredholm's masterful instruments. This guitar's tonal features, paired with its ornate Mother of Pearl rosette and purfling, soft V Mahogany neck, and Ebony bridge and peghead veneer, make this Thomas Fredholm OM equally as beautiful to admire as it is to play.
