Details

Bill Tippin of Marblehead, Massachusetts is known for his elegant, refined, and powerful guitars. This pre-owned Forte is no exception to that rule, and it is a beautiful example of Bill's craftsmanship. The Forte model is essentially an extension of his flagship model, the Crescendo, with the Forte being 3/16" wider in the lower bout. You might not think 3/16" of an inch would make that much difference, but it does. The Forte retains the balanced tone of the Crescendo, but with more volume and power. This is Madagascar rosewood at its finest, harmoniously paired with Adirondack spruce to maximize the best of both woods. It's beautifully rich and responsive for fingerstyle, and then articulate and commanding when played with a pick.

Fit and finish on this Forte are exquisite, with elegant blackwood and abalone appointments, a graceful cutaway, and beveled armrest. The condition of this pre-owned model is excellent, with only a little light pick wear below the soundhole.
