We are delighted to have spec'd this fantastic Model M from British luthier Tom Sands.

This Model M will feature Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides, with a Mastergrade German Spruce top.

Tom Sands, the first British luthier to complete an apprenticeship under Ervin Somogyi, offers three models - S, M and L. As the name suggests, the M is the middle of the three, offering a wonderfully balanced sound with incredible presence.

Tom says about this build:

"When I was working with Ervin, I was always blown away by the sound he was able to get with the classic combination of Brazilian Rosewood and European Spruce. When I managed to source some gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood that has been seasoned for 40 years and had appropriate CITIES paperwork, Ben and I jumped at the opportunity to spec out a guitar together. This guitar will be a Model M - heavily informed by the Somogyi OM which I loved so much. I always refer to the Model M as the ‘Goldilocks Guitar’ - due to it’s ability to do a bit of everything. It’s all at once delicate and sweet, but still has plenty of oomph to surprise and delight."
