Turnstone's TM model is luthier Rosie Heydenrych's take on the classic 14-fret OM, but there's nothing typical about this particular guitar. This special model features flamed English sycamore and Alpine spruce, beautifully paired with Art Deco inlays that took our breath away. One look at the figuring of the sycamore and it probably won't surprise you that sycamore is in the same family as maple, and as a result, shares many tonal characteristics. It provides a clean, transparent support to the top wood, amplifying the warmth and sweetness of Alpine spruce without adding extra overtones. In keeping with their commitment to use native tonewoods, Rosie and Karl have given this guitar an English walnut neck. Don't miss Rosie's video about the guitar in the video links below.

"Acer woods such as this bring a fantastic sweetness and clarity to the tone, these species of wood are known for their immediacy and reflective nature."
