Details

Don't let the slight build of this Turnstone guitar fool you. While the TS may be luthier Rosie Heydenrych's smallest model, this is a comfortable parlor guitar that packs a punch! The smaller soundboard results in a quick attack, giving the player an immediate response and a clear, crisp tone. Rosie makes her TS a little deeper than the average parlor, resulting in a fuller sound with richer bass. With a 12-fret join, the bridge is moved into the coveted sweet spot, but with a low impact scoop-style cutaway, you won’t be compromised when you want to reach up to the dusty end.

The Alpine spruce she's used on this model is clean and even-grained, and matched with a beautiful set of Indian rosewood on the back and sides. The reddish hues in the rosewood are brought out and accented by the flamed koa on the rosette, purfling, end graft and 12-fret marker, for an overall design scheme that is understated but unquestionably attractive.
