Modeled after the hard-to-find instruments manufactured by the Gibson sub-brand Kel Kroydon in the 1930s, the WL-K is strikingly lightweight (under three pounds!) and responsive and punchy, with the delightful woody pop that Waterloo is known for. Lightly built with thinly carved braces and a minimal lacquer finish, it is, as Collings says, "capable of capturing the expressiveness of the player down to the finest nuance." We wholeheartedly agree! This pre-owned model comes to us in excellent condition, with no issues to note, and its original hardshell case.
Be aware that, given the light construction, Collings recommends using only .011"-.052" strings on this guitar.
